Nothing Happens by Chance

Updated: Oct 5, 2021

Your mindset (including religious ideas and beliefs) determines how you experience the world: relationships, experiences, successes, failures, happiness and misery. Nothing happens by chance. Each of us lives in a world of our own making, born of our mindset that determines the quality of our lives. It is this personal mindset that attracts to you everything you consider as either positive or negative, good or bad.

You are the creator of your every tomorrow, every experience and every event that comes into your life. This is the universal law of cause and effect. I agree with Elisabeth Kübler-Ross (1926–2004) when she said: “I believe that we are solely responsible for our choices, and we have to accept the consequences of every deed, word, and thought throughout our lifetime.”

There is no escaping this. So, pay attention to what you expose yourself to, what you consume mentally every minute of the day, and what your moment-by-moment thoughts are. If they are negative (for example, indulging in criticism, slander, denigration, …) know that they will bring you like experiences. A day, a week, a month, a year or many years in the future. And at that time, you will likely not remember what you did that created your current experience/situation.

If you can accept that everything negative (and positive) that comes into your life is something that YOU created in your past, you can begin the process of changing your circumstances. You can embark on a new program of thought-emotional living that can bring you an ever more exalted and wondrous state of living. This all starts when YOU begin to change your thoughts ridding them of everything negative and changing them to everything consistent with Unconditional Love. There is a specific 7-Step process for doing this. Know that OUR souls are ALL EQUAL, regardless of race, religion, place of origin, the language we speak, the wealth we do or do not have, the level of education, the color of our skin. Know this, heed this, and treat ALL others as YOU would like to be treated.
